This Limited edition mineralized collection from MAC has stirred up a lot of noise lately and quite frankly has made me really interested in this collection. So what did I do? What any beauty fanatic would do! Went out and bought some of these goodies! But I'll get to that later ;D.

All the different unique colors and shades were absolutely mesmerizing. As difficult as it was to restrain myself from buying everything I saw, there were few things that stood out. I bought a Cremesheen Glass lipgloss in the color Strictly Plutonic (a mid-tone pink brown) which is crazy gorgeous! I also bought a Mineralize Blush in the color Solar Ray (a peach and gold melange) and last but not least I bought a Mineralize Skinfinish in the color Light Year (a peachy pink with gold shimmer).

Light Year-

Light Year is such a beautiful mixture of a light peachy color with a hint of pink and gold shimmer (just the perfect amount though).


















Solar Ray-

Solar ray is perky burst of peach and pink that is perfect as a highlight for darker skinned people or as peachy blush for lighter skinned people.

POWDER BRUSH

This soft powder brush is just one of the many different brushes designed and created by Samantha Chapman(a professional make-up artist). You can buy it from her website here! or from an Ulta store  or on their online store here! 

The powder brush here cost $10.00 when I bought it at the near by Ulta.  It is made of synthetic taklon bristles that are hand-cut and 100% cruelty free.

Claims to do for you...

- Apply powders and mineral foundations evenly for a smooth,   high-definition look.


- Look pixel perfect even in harsh lighting.


- Self-standing for easy storage.


- Extended aluminum handle for light and easy usage. 


- Cruelty free.

My Opinion: 

I wanted to love this brush... It's soft bristles and high-tech look seduced my mind into buying it. Reasoning with the arguments of it being only $10 and all that it claimed to do! It couldn't be better.... or so I thought... As soon as i got home that day i decided to take it out for a test drive. Not only did it leave my skin looking less than "pixel perfect" but it didn't even make my make-up look decent. My usual make-up routine consist of primer then concealer then mineral powder (sometimes foundation if its a special event). I tried using this brush for the mineral powder and it left it flaky and some areas of my face had it more product and other areas had absolutely little to no make-up at all! 

I will continue to figure out different or better ways to use this brush because it is also my personal opinion that this brush has potential if used with the correct "technique" ;P.

Electric

BY FAR THE BEST EYE LINERS I HAVE EVER USED! These brilliant and beautiful colors are so creamy and smudge-able yet doesn't fade and are very pigmented PLUS WATERPROOF!

Woodstock is a very bright pink color with gold glitter. Not only is the color absolutely sexy but the name is totally hippy-ish and awesome!!

Ransom is a very intimate purple that is, like all the other ones, very creamy and smudge-able. This color is perfect for a date-night or a fun night out with the girls!

Perversion is a matte black(blackest of blacks) color that last a very long time and can be smudge to make that sexy smoky eye look. 

Junkie is a fantastic green shade with gold shimmer. This color totally tickles my fancy because of how sexy and unique this color is! (especially for an eyeliner!) If worn correctly this could be worn for an every day look. This edgy green is most likely my favorite of these eye pencils.

Radium, a light shimmery blue color, is perfect for that trendy aqua look a lot of women are doing! It is very pigmented and last very long. It's a perfect liner to use for a night out on the town or maybe (if you're brave enough) even to wear to that crazy pool party!

Electric, similar to radium, is a bright(iridescent) blue. It is one of the crazier colors in the whole Eye Pencil line along with Woodstock and a few others. I love the pigmentation of this color and how it can make your eyes POP!(definitely tied with junkie for faves!)

This fabulous light green dress looks so girly and yet classy and classic.

This dress runs in three sizes: small, medium, and large. And only comes in this light green or "sage" color, which really disappointed me. I was honestly hoping that this would come in more colors (maybe like a light pink or purple or maybe even a light blue) but having that said this dress is just absolutely adorable! Totally tickles my fancy ;D!! Its definitely an more than casual (I would even say on the formal side) evening dress that is appropriate for many different events! It could be worn with a cute off-white cropped cardigan with some off-white heels (like the ones in the picture)or flats for a classy dinner party or date. Or it could be worn with a fierce pair of purple heels for a more party look. 

It has a perfectly frilly back side that brings a more modern look to the old victorian dress clothing style.

SO FRIGGIN CUTE!!!!
